Description
The FLJ Series Electromagnetic Brake Induction Motor is a fully enclosed, air-cooled, squirrel-cage three-phase motor designed in accordance with IEC standards. It features rapid braking, a compact design, high efficiency and energy savings, high reliability, and high starting torque. In addition, the motor’s braking system is equipped with a manual release mechanism, allowing for a combination of manual and electromagnetic release, making it convenient to operate.
The FLJ series motors are suitable for mechanisms requiring rapid braking, precise positioning, repetitive operation, frequent starting, and slip prevention. Examples include hoisting machinery, conveying machinery, packaging machinery, food processing machinery, printing machinery, and gear reducers. Principle and Structure: A DC brake disc is mounted on the non-driving end of the motor shaft. When power is supplied, the brake engages simultaneously; the electromagnetic force attracts the armature and compresses the spring, releasing the brake disc from the armature and end cap, allowing the motor to begin operation; When the power is interrupted, the electromagnetic force is lost, and the spring pushes the armature toward the brake disc, causing the motor to stop immediately and completing the braking action.
The FLJ series of motors has given rise to several sub-series, including the FLDJ series of multi-speed electromagnetic-brake three-phase induction motors and the FLVJ series of variable-frequency electromagnetic-brake three-phase induction motors.
