Description
The YBD3 series of polarity-changing, multi-speed, explosion-proof three-phase motors use a simple winding polarity reversal method to achieve speed variation. Different poles provide different speeds. The YBD3 series motors are suitable for mechanical equipment requiring speed control and are primarily used in the coal, oil and natural gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries, typically to drive pumps, fans, compressors, and other transmission machinery. The YBD3 series motors we offer bear Ex markings, such as Ex db Ⅰ AT4/BT4 Mb and Ex db Ⅱ AT4/BT4/CT4 Gb, for use in explosive gas environments. Except for mines with flammable gases, “A” indicates that the typical gas is propane, while “B” indicates that the typical gas is ethylene.
